Today, 20 August 2009 - Mercedes-Benz Vietnam officially announces that the new E-Class (code name W212) – the world’s top business car will be unveiled in Vietnam in early September 2009 via two special launch events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

“It’s time our business customers welcome the most fantastic and intelligent business car for their own,” said Dr. Udo Loersch, General Director of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam.

“Embodied the most core values of the brand, E-Class is the “heart” of Mercedes-Benz. The new E-Class will once again set the standard in design, safety and comfort in the upper-range segment. We will have two desirable versions in Vietnam - the E300 Sedan for business customers and the E350 Coupé for enthusiasts. Now, our customers can prepare for a new interesting journey, starting from the launch event early September  in Hanoi and HCMC. The event, of course, will be full of new E-Class passion.” he added.

New E-Class - the best-looking car in the world

It took five years for the new E-Class product development, which as a result leaves no doubt that this is the start of a new chapter in its history. The distinctive design of the new E-Class positively exudes status. New lines make the car appear even more effortlessly superior and imposing than before, enhancing the strong power with masculinity. One example for the prominent features is the unmistakable “new eyes” – the twin headlamp. The previously always oval in shape now has been given a more progressive slant by the Mercedes designers, drawing inspiration from cubism and its beguiling geometric forms. This partly explains why the new E-Class has been voted as best looking car in the world by readers and and received Design Award 2009 by AUTO BILD, the Germany’s larget motoring magazine.

New E-Class - Intelligent cars for leaders
